The Lord Mayor of Neustadt an der Weinstrasse, the home of IBR Institute of International Business Relations, congratulated IBR MBA students.

"Amazing how the Israeli management experience indeed inspires us here in Ukraine", a comment that was repeated frequently among the executives that attended the second IBR Executive Forum in Kyiv.

It was amazing how his Excellency, Mr András Bársony, the Ambassador of Hungary, attracted the attention of Ukrainian Executives in his talk. He clearly outlined the successes of the Hungarian economy during the past 20 years.

His Excellency, the Ambassador of India, Mr Saha, indeed inspired the IBR Executive Network and representatives of the Ukrainian and Indian business community in Kyiv. In a very sensitive way he outlined key elements of the success of the Indian latest developments.

Dr. Andreas Kelling, Director of IBR, congratulated Grundfos Ukraine on its third birthday. He explored together with all Grundfos employees of how to create an environment to let this brand flourish in the country.

IBR offer MBA applicants the option to participate in residential periods either at home or in foreign countries. MBA students were excited after having finished the financial residential period with Professor Keith Cleland (Australia), Professor Alan Tobin (Australia) and Paul Davis (UK). It was an eye-opening experience for many on how to monitor the company's performance as of today and not based on historic data.

With his training on leadership from February 8th to 9th, IBR started a series of professional trainings in Ukraine for 2007. The whole seminar cycle will include topics such as marketing, strategic management, project management and leadership. Trainers will come from the US, South Africa, and Israel.

Annual IBR Executive network meeting took place on December 12. Executive network club unites all graduates, partners, professors and existing students all over the world.

Professor Dr. Keith Cleland (Australia) ran again two seminars on financial management together with his colleague Paul Davis (UK) in Kyiv and Odessa. For both of them this was the second time in 2006 that they came to Ukraine to conduct this session for Ukrainian IBR MBA students.
